I got the idea for APOLLO while watching The Deadliest Catch on discovery channel. During one particular episode two fishermen fell into the water and one was never found, due to the rough water. APOLLO has a helium balloon with L.E.D.s that reaches well above the waves in a heavy storm so that in the future more lives can be saved.

Not only is APOLLO a lifejacket but is also a harness. A rescue helicopter can literally reel you in by attaching the helium balloon to a pulley system.

Sense this project had to be streamlined we were asked to design a poster for our project to look like a poster from the streamline era (1930s). I used colors from old Bakelite radios!
