Butterfly Sax Concept - For this project, I wanted to challenge my self to do something that seemed impossible. I came to the conclusion that I have never seen redesigns of complex musical equipment. I chose one of the most elegant looking instruments I could think of, and also one of the most elegant things in nature. This self challenge gave birth to the Butterfly Sax. Total time working on this project concept work and rendering 11 hours out of 2 days. I modeled it in Rhino and rendered it in Flamingo.
Honda X-R-X - This is a project I did for Motor Trend “Fast and Furious car for the year 2020”. I chose to redesign the Honda CRX because I told my friend Jason I would pimp out his car some day. For my Uncle Jack the vehicle is fueled by methane, which is stored in composite Kevlar tanks. The engine is a High voltage generator that uses a rotary style internal combustion engine. This generator sends power to electromagnets on each wheel.
Concept Sketches - These are some Quick concept sketches I did for the 2003 Motor Trend Design Competition.
I also included sketches and quick rendering of a conceptual steering unit.
WinAmp Alarm Clock - This is a conceptual alarm clock that would have a wireless USB connection to a computer. It would automatically update the time and play list as the user does on a computer. It also has an inferred beam on the top of the clock in the place of a snooze button. The user could shut off the alarm by waving their hand over the clock. No more fumbling around in the dark. It could also be used as computer speakers as well.
