Procyon

Industrial Design Senior Project:
Procyon is an emergency tool for patching hulls of spacecraft as a result of an MMOD (Micrometeoroids and Orbital Debris) impact. Space is a dangerous frontier to explore. As astronauts continue to travel into the unknown, it is important to consider and prepare for the potential life-threatening emergency. The development of this product required in-depth research into user restrictions and materials, as well as an iterative rapid prototyping process, using foam and 3D printed models.
