Ayodhya, the holy kingdom of india. As per Hindu mythology, Ayodha is the birthplace of Load Rama, the seventh avatar of Vishnu. Situated on the banks of rive Sarayu, Ayodha The city’s antecedents date back to 9000 years, when it was founded by Manu, the first man in The Vedas I was in Ayodhya on…for my grandmother's 2nd Death anniversary. It was a chilly winter morning and we had reached the ghats at 7 in the morning. The water was cold, icy cold. I was lacking in courage to just wade into the river for a dip. Suddenly, the sun emerged from the Horizon and at the same moment this solitary sailor was sailing past. The welcoming aura of the Sun and the solitary firmness of the sailor gave the strength and I edged into the river. As I descended from the bank, I felt an unusual calm. I waded a little further till the water was a little over my navel. It is at this point when this surreal picture became possible. The gratification, the calm, the inner peace I felt.
