In this collaboration project with BMW Group I developed a fully autonomous concept car exterior for the year 2030.
Being the center digitality-device on-the-go, the car's cupola can become opaque to be projected on the inside. Also to shield from the outside, since the car is the driver and must autonomously communicate with pedestrians. It does so mainly with the all around light halo and blinkers.
Following the Vision Next 100 concept and the Gina concept, this car‘s enclosed tyres and other moving body parts are realized with extremely stretchable and robust silicone. Tightly stretched and extremely cut-resistant it even assists crash safety. And in case, is easily replaced. Enriched with color particles it creates a unique surface sensation. Like a skin, rater than a tin box.
The propulsion unit is completely in the back, perfect for a dynamic, fun ride with the capable autonomous driver.
The comfort for the two passengers is premium level, yet, the size is of a compact car.
