Sweep for Gerber Legendary Blades
The tools used in the retail environment today were evaluated to understand what works and what doesn’t. Through observation it was found that there were many repetitive tasks that shipping and receiving workers do everyday.
How could these tasks be made easier and safer for users to accomplish?
The most important user needs, tape removal, writing, strap cutting, and typical box cutting were identified. The goal of combining these uses into a compact and simple tool was defined as the main objective.
