This early concepts shows an attempt to make the nose of the aircraft accessible for standing or sitting. Other utility features such as wing handles were also eliminated. Wing folding mechanisms ware investigated as well as complex trailer functions that were incorporated to handle the rigors of deploying and retrieving without damage or injury.
