This client's family is from New Orleans. It happens that my brother is an archaeologist in New Orleans. I was able to go on one of his job sites a few years ago, where I found a broken ceramic jar that had type and a border on it. I used that as inspiration for this logo. It connects to the client's roots, and it has antique quality that still looks modern too.
