Gems of the sea
Worked on ‘Corals’ as a theme to make an art installation in glass using the process of flamework. This concept
was inspired by my visit to Australia (for an exchange semester) which is home to the ‘Great Barrier Reef’.
The final art work was a dome with
spaces for separate coral units to come together and form one ‘coral’.
We used Borosilicate glass tubes for the
work.
