Gold Tone wanted a new tailpiece for their premium banjos. They wanted something that was hefty, sturdy, had a bold look that was easy to install and set-up. The design was simulated using FEA (finite element analysis) in our CAD software to test its ability to withstand the intense forces of the string tension. The result was a family of three variations made in die-cast zinc called the Terminator Tailpiece.
