Families in Touch - Families in Touch is designed to encourage communication and social engagement among older adults. It looks to address the difficulties they experience by using existing communication devices. I wanted to create a device that enables older adults to use present communications technology in a very simplified manner to reconnect with their families and friends. With the help of University of Toronto TAGlab and GRAND NCE, I was able to develop a working prototype with approved field deployment.
