Smart ELCITA is a platform for e-governance for the Electronics City Industrial Township Authority. Oorjaa did the front end design for the three main modules of the platform - the ELCITA website, Office Module (consisting of several office workflows) and the Admin Module (for administrative use).
The challenge was to keep the user experience in the first two modules as consistent as possible while still enabling some intensive workflows in the Office module.
The Admin module had to accommodate tasks such as diverse as people management, tax payments, managing business lists and announcements & news. Logical groupings for various functions and design was kept simple yet engaging to enable the administrative functions to be carried out in a smooth and effective manner.
