Position Overview
This position is hybrid. The candidate for this position will be required to work in our Garden City NY office minimally two days a week.
Create kitchenware products based on market research and retail strategies. Evolve concept designs through a systematic process of drawing, model making, testing and analysis. Works on a variety of projects simultaneously from concept throughout the design process. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
Essential Job Functions
Design products based on specifications.
Works on large scale projects from conception through design process.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s level degree in Industrial Design
Experience: 3 – 6 years in the field or in a related area
Specialized Knowledge,
Must have advanced skills in 3D solid and surface modeling in Solidworks 2023 and above
Must have advanced skills in creating technical drawings for manufacturing purposes
Must demonstrate exceptionally strong skills in Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
Must demonstrate exceptionally strong skills in sketching, ideating and presentations
Working Conditions: General office environment
Other Skills/Abilities: Ability to interact with users in non-technical, clear terms. Highly creative with the ability to work within the requirements of an industrial manufacturing process.
Salary Range- $75,000.00 to $100,000.00 per annum
