Job Description

The ideal candidate will be capable of creating technical and mechanical fabrication drawings for a wide range of creative design/build projects. We are looking for a combination of technical skills, creative flare and real-world savvy to join our design group.

You must possess a broad and varied practical knowledge of materials, substrates, fabrication techniques and be an eager participant in working with and developing new processes. You must also be able to interpret the design intent and possess the ability to troubleshoot problems with creative solutions and possible alternatives mid-stream working closely with the fabrication team in making these a reality.

Skills

Extensive experience designing custom architectural, industrial design, environmental and/or theatrical elements using AutoCAD a must. A developed knowledge of Adobe CS, Sketchup, Solidworks, Fusion 360 and Rhino is also a plus.
