Product Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a creative and detail oriented product designer to join our dynamic team. Ideal Candidate will have strong sense of design and the ability to transform ideas into visually appealing and functional packaging. You will collaborate with cross functional teams, including product development, marketing, and production to create packaging solutions that align with out brand meet consumer needs.

You will work with brands such as Hershey, Tootsie, Brookstone

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop product concepts that align with our brand identity and meet functional requirements.

3D Modeling Software: Familiarity with tools like SolidWorks, Blender, Rhino, Autodesk Fusion 360, or Tinkercad is crucial. Each tool has its strengths depending on the type of product and complexity.

Prototyping: Knowing how to create physical prototypes through 3D printing.

Materials and Manufacturing: Understanding different materials and how they can be used in manufacturing is essential. This includes knowledge of injection molding, sheet metal fabrication, and other processes relevant to your product.

User Experience: Considering the end-user experience and ergonomics of your design is vital. Ensuring that your product is not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional and comfortable to use can set your designs apart.

Design Trends: Staying updated on design trends and technological advancements can help keep your work fresh and relevant.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
Proven experience (3+ years) in package design, preferably in Fitness Packaging
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and 3D modeling tools.
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of packaging designs and creative solutions.
Excellent understanding of materials, printing processes, and structural design.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
