Under the guidance of the Design Director, StudioH, this position will contribute to the successful creation of exhibit designs within Studio H.
Essential Job Functions:
-Collaborate with a cross functional team to develop designs that are compelling solutions that meet and exceed the client’s expectations
-Produce creative presentations of exhibit structures and components for trade shows and events using related presentation software
-Work with the client and sales team to define the goals of each project
-Communicate with external customer when supported by Sales, Senior Designer & Design Director
-Manage multiple design projects in a fast-paced work environment
-Create, evaluate and analyze new design ideas
-Understanding of exhibit design process from graphic design, conceptual sketching to 3 dimensional renderings, specifying materials and working with production to maintain the integrity of the design
-Ensure the quality and completeness of designs and deliverables within established deadlines
-Collaborate with design, sales and engineering/estimating to deliver compelling solutions that meet and exceed client expectations
-Prepare the creative portion of sales presentation material; ensure the quality and completeness of designs and deliverables
-Possess the ability to work with project teams and set objectives (2D and 3D)
-Other duties as assigned
Education and Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in design or related field required
-Ability to operate under time constraints, influence design and lead large projects.
-Ability to interface with clients and make presentations and translate client feedback.
-Experience in creation of marketing/experiential event concepts preferred
-Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks and commitment to meeting and/or exceeding deadlines and goals.
-2+ years of experience
-Ability to learn 3D Studio Max
Physical Requirements:
-Remaining in a sedentary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods
-The ability to alternate between sitting, standing, and walking
Compensation:
-Starting at $55k
