Job Description
We are seeking a talented designer with a strong visual design background to join our small and collaborative team. Designers at Everyday wear multiple hats, actively participating in various phases of the design process, including wireframing, concept creation, prototyping, visual design, and design system development. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on projects from ideation to execution.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Senior Designers to create visually appealing and user-friendly features that align with project goals and user needs
- Produce high-quality deliverables (wireframes, prototypes, flows, and visual designs) that effectively communicate ideas and facilitate seamless development
- Iterate on ideas in collaboration with internal and client teams, incorporating feedback and refining designs to achieve optimal results
- Develop comprehensive and visually cohesive design systems that ensure consistency and efficiency across projects
- Participate in usability research to gather valuable insights and inform design decisions
- Actively contribute to brainstorming sessions, generating innovative solutions to complex design challenges
What We're Looking For
- 1-2 years of experience working in a fast-paced studio environment
- Degree in design with a focus on visual design, communication design, or industrial design
- A genuine passion for design and a deep understanding of design processes and best practices
- A portfolio showcasing visually striking and user-centric websites and applications that demonstrate your skills and creativity
- Strong typography skills and a keen eye for detail and visual harmony
- Proficiency with industry-standard design and prototyping tools (we use Figma)
- Experience with animation and micro-animation is a plus, as it enhances user engagement and delight
- An interest in understanding customer behaviors and how they influence design decisions, with a focus on creating intuitive and meaningful user experiences
