Here is what you need to know about this role:
• Design and develop denim apparel products that meet market needs and brand standards.
• Present design concepts and detailed product sketches with customers.
• Collaborate with the business development team to identify new market opportunities, consumer behaviors, and buying patterns.
• Work closely with the merchandising team to ensure cohesive product line development and selection.
• Work closely with the production team to ensure timely delivery of products and quality meets expectations.
• Research and analyze market trends to identify new opportunities and adjust the product line accordingly.
• Participate in fitting sessions to ensure products are developed and manufactured according to design specifications.
• Plan and execute seasonal product launches and marketing campaigns to maximize sales and market share.
You might be a good fit if you have …
• Bachelor's degree in fashion design or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in denim apparel product design and development.
• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to present design concepts to customers.
• Solid understanding of market trends, consumer behavior and buying patterns.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Expertise in denim design is required.
