Calon Heart Pump
A project undertaken during university on behalf of Calon Cardio, a company that have invented and manufacture a less obtrusive heart pump (LVAD). The aim of the project was to minimise the impact on the day to day life of the patient while using the system. The system was using off the shelf batteries, harnesses and components making it very obtrusive for everyday life. This was a group project, and I was responsible for the user interface, pump controller and hospital monitoring system.
