User Rendering - Kids get frightened and anxious when they were being placed in a pool for the first few times. Parents have to ensure their children’s safety and confidence by supervising beside them. The project focused on creating a water toy to improve the quality of experience for both parents and toddlers in water.
Process - The concept of connecting tubes were determined during the initial brainstorm phases, the process primary consist of explorations of child-friendly colors, materials, textures, and forms.
Crabio - A pair of inflatable crabs for one parent and one kid. The inflatables could be connected together to allow the baby and the mother to attach their experience with each other in the water. The possibility of introducing add-on toys to facilitate fun interactions was also considered in this final stage.
