the experience of getting an MRI : turning fear and uncertainty into a playful experience
Research done with Children's Hospital Boston, Ma.
The project revolved around the idea of looking at the doctors office and how it informs a child about a procedure they will be receiving.
Focusing on the MRI, I looked to create an informative play set that familiarized the child with the experience of getting an MRI before they actually have it. This way they relate loud noises and the staying still to the fun elements of a game.
