Contrast, 2013: This photo represents contrast because the cloud dramatically goes from black to white in a gradient form, giving vivid contrast. I used levels, brightness and contrast to enhance this photo.
Balance, 2013: This photo represents balance because of the trees trunks in a even cluster and the branches that extend cover the surrounding space well. I used brightness and contrast, levels, and vibrance and saturation to enhance this picture.
Emphasis, 2013: I manipulated this photo a little bit, to ensure I could convey the message of emphasis, by placing a piece of my phone case into a giant rubber band ball that I created. The stark difference in colors, between the light tan and hot pink immediately draws the viewers eye to the center of the photo. I used brightness and contrast, and vibrance and saturation to enhance this photo.
Unity, 2013: This photo represents unity because all of the parts in the photo are equal. I used brightness and contrast and color balance to emphasize this photo.
Movement, 2013: This photo represents movement because the subject was in motion while the picture was being taken. I used black and white to enhance this photo.
Pattern/Repetition, 2013: This photo represents pattern/repetition because it has the same pattern repeating throughout the grate. I used contrast and vibrance and saturation to emphasize this photo.
Artist's Choice 1, 2013: This photo has elements of art like line because of the stripes on the stuffed tiger and elements of art like value because it is in black and white. It also has principles of art like pattern because the stripes on the stuffed tiger are consistent throughout it and principles of contrast because of the stark difference between the black and white in the photo. I used levels, color balance, and black and white to enhance this photo.
Artist's Choice 2, 2013: This photo has elements of art like texture because you can see the roughness of the rocks in the photo and elements of art like shape because of the clearly defined organic shapes that the rocks hold. This photo also has principles of art like balance because the picture is centered and has and even background. It also has principles of art like pattern, because the rocks repeat in an nice rectangular order. I used curves, vibrance, and saturation to enhance this photo.
