Low Cost Cooling Device
As an attempt at Design for Social Innovation, this project was dearest so far.
A large chunk of population in India live on a dollar a day. There are very few resources, opportunities and frustrations.
I wanted to create a low cost food preserving and storing system for vegetable vendors in India.
This project uses passive cooling technology and pot in pot system to create a cold compartment which can be manufactured locally and bought cheaply .
The experimentation resulted in elongating life of vegetables for two more days.
