Health Portrait

This project was initiated by Willow Bank Surgery who contacted live|work with a service problem they wanted help solving. live|work took me on as an intern to work on the project which also served as my master’s thesis project.

Willow Bank, a partnership between two clinics, was seeing very high and costly use of clinic services and visits to the hospital especially by families with young children. Willow Bank needed to understand how to shift these patients into a more affordable model that would still satisfy their needs for health care and support. Willow Bank identified their situation as being problematic for the practice, the staff and also for their
patients. Patients had to call the clinic between 8am and 9am in order to get an appointment. After 9am no appointments
were available.
