SCUDO - Scudo is a concept for a bi-material door handle. The external part is made of deep-drawn metal with a frontal empty space. A wood (or rubber) insert is placed inside it. The concave shape of the insert is designed to give a comfortable feeling to the thumb.
TOUCH - touch is a concept for a bi-material comolded door handle. The overall design plays with the contrast between the rounded part (in a rigid material such as metal) and the sharp edges (in a soft material such as rubber or polyurethan). A smooth surface connects the handle with the rose giving the product a feeling of fluidity.
