Kitchen model:

The following CFD kitchen model investigates the effectivity of an exhaust hood. The aim of an exhaust hood is to remove airborne grease, smoke and heat by evacuation of the air and filtration. Time dependent transient simulation investigates the effectivity of exhaust hood based on temperature distribution in time.

Particle filter model:

The presented CFD two stage particle filter model investigates the streamlines of different size of particles in a 2D turbulent flow. Comparing the effectivity of filter based on how many particles are trapped in filter. Furthermore, studying the velocity and total pressure distribution in the filter model.
