GALE Florence is a compact telehealth solution with storage for first aid supplies and diagnostic devices. 19Labs asked me if I could turn their original idea of a box with drawers into a friendly device that people could have at their homes and be simple to use in an urgent situation. Things had to be organised in a simple and logical layout and accessible with just one hand operations. One other challenge was to pack as many devices and supplies in a small volume, and still allow for future customization and upgrade.
