Porter-Cable Tiger Claw, Pentair Tool Group - The design of a reciprocating saw for Porter-Cable. This saw features a head that bends and twists to get into tight spaces and around pipes.
This was one of the most destructive user tests I have ever been involved with. It was also the most fun.

Porter-Cable 'Tiger Saw' product line, Pentair Tool Group - The re-design of an entire product family of the reciprocating demolition saws for Porter-Cable.
I should note that during the design process, I made a conscious effort to keep the product from looking like a DeWalt. As fate would have it, two years later, Porter-Cable was purchase by DeWalt. The front end of the top saw is now used on 2 DeWalt reciprocating saws. I am flattered, DeWalt has some very talented designers, but it is still pretty ironic.
