The Dodge Challenger has become an icon of America's muscle cars from the late 1960's. Today, the car industry often looks back to this legends and reboots them in nostalgic but powerful versions that meet the 21st Century's demands.
As an industrial designer, I decided to explore and understand the beauty of these machines and a great way is to virtually model them - the 1970 Challenger caught my attention almost immediately. I learned and had a lot of fun working on this model.
This model was made in Rhinoceros NURBS modelling software.
This model has had great acceptance among GrabCAD.com's community. I hope this model plays a worthy homage to the American muscle cars of the 70's and specially to the Dodge Challenger. It was a delight to model and learn from every line on its design.
