The purpose of this project is to create an outdoor activity people can enjoy together. The project takes the experience of outdoor cooking one step further, by enabling people to make their own stove at their campsite, using mud. The mud stove we get is a type called a Rocket Stove. It is a wood burning stove that uses natural air flow to fan the flame.
MUDHUT is a set of tools that enables the users to make a mud stove. It consists of a pot, a spade and a spatula. The pots unique shape is designed to be used as the mould for the interior space of the mud stove. The spade and spatulas curves are designed to enable easy shaping of the mud stove. The spades length is used to measure the opening for the wood.
