HabiTool

Habitool broadens the experience of camping in nature.
It is a kit for creating a shelter in a wooded environment that merges with pieces borrowed from the surrounding to form the shelter. Searching for suitable branches and carving them into shape before constructing the shelter. This activity enables a new and active contact with the surrounding environment.
The project steamed from the examination of the relationship between a tool and the object it creates, the reciprocal affect they have on one another, especially how the need to make a specific object influences the tool that will make it. Creating task dedicated tools determined the visual language of Habitool.
Was acquired by the DESIGN MUSEUM HOLON to be part of their collection.
