Owl Long Day

Owl Long Day is a 2D platforming game with a short story about an owl facing rejection after his job interview. Throughout the day, he takes a long walk around the city while his past memories follow him and an old friend tries to reach out to him.

Owl Long Day is made as a team project by Joel Mariscal, Charles Advincula, Alexander Kuang, and Jarreau Ortega.

Game is available for playing here:

In this project, I implemented the transition into new scenes and displaying the text in the still imaged cutscenes. I also implemented the method for creating and placing platforms in the game levels with my teammates and wrote the respawning behavior for the player character. I read the documentation of Phaser3 to write the code for the images following the owl player character.
