Taipei tower: The design of the buildings skin was inspired by the traditional native weaving technique of Taiwan. The goal of the golden rods was to reflect light and create a glow to the building, this would create a unique atmospheric effect. Due to the current pollution levels of Taipei the city has a grey hue, in an effort to make a unique landmark feature the building was given a golden color.
