Various works
Sport Luggage Line - These pieces are from a set of sport-style luggage for B.U.M. Equipment. The line includes a duffle, rolling duffle, and a backpack. The standard duffle was developed first, and the piece was well-received. The product was then chosen to be developed into the set of three products. The bags feature a casual appearance via materials selection, while the shapes are uniquely utilitatarian, featuring a peek-thru style handle and tapered shape for increased storage at the bottom of the bag.
Beanbug coffee grinder - This coffee grinder concept uses an inverted motor to achieve both functional and aesthetic improvements. This change alone results in a fundamentally easier operation and unique form. Improvements upon existing grinders include more automated grinding, more universally understandable product graphics, much more intuitive dispensing of coffee grounds, and a form/character which is personable. This product is used every morning, and becomes a daily ritual/interaction, thus personality and function of the grinder are both vital.
Circo: Voice-activated Universal Remote - Circo is a universal remote intended to make interaction with home entertainment devices easier for physically-disabled people. Optional voice-activation reduces the need for hand use. A removable neckstrap maintains the proper speaking range and prevents loss in couch cushions and drop damage. A radial pattern creates a logical hierarchy of controls, while surface & form aid low-light navigation.
