The brief for this project was very broad & required me to design a 100ml bottle, that would be suitable for use on a plane, with regards to recent rules & regulations on liquids; I was asked to design the bottle based on a company of my choosing. For the bottle I chose to do an aftershave bottle as I have done work & research on them in school and for the company I chose Mclaren automotive as I am relativley familar with brand thanks to my passion for the automotive industry; they also had no aftershave bottle available in their store. At the time of designing this bottle, the Mclaren P1 was a very new car which really showed the capabilities & future direction of the company, so I decided to use at as the main inspiration for my design. Furthermore as the company has such a rich history, which is reflected in the P1's logo, I thought it was a good basis for the Bottle. Lastly I decided to keep the design quite minimalist as that is reflective of prior success in the market.
