These four essays give a glimpse into my work as a phenomenologist writing about media and technology. The first discusses the ethics of photographic seeing and technological mediation; the second deals with the experience of super hero comics as developed through a life history; the third and forth reflect on the works of two great avant-garde film makers and the philosophical underpinnings of the uses of technology in media.
