Linear image scanner - Hand held bar code scanner that incorporates linear CCD technology to read various bar codes. Designed specifically for the retail environment. This scanner incorporates an overmolded grip area to increase user comfort and add perceived value. The housing is designed to be extremely durable and attractive in the point of sale area. Responsible for managing all concept development, industrial design, CAD development and detailing and mechanical design support.

Two Dimensional Scanner - Hand held scanner using CCD imaging technology to scan linear and 2-dimensional barcodes. Designed for warehouse and retail environments. First hand held scanner to incorporate rubber overmolding and set a new standard in the industry. Overmolding used to increase product comfort and perceived value and aids in sealing. Responsible for concept development, industrial design and mechanical design support.

Instant Lottery Ticket Verifier - Designed for Gtech Corporation. This product reads instant lottery tickets to verify if the ticket is a winner. The product indicates winners then brands the ticket to ensure that the ticket is not cashed in a second time. The transport system accommodates a variety of ticket sizes and shapes. Acted as Industrial Design Manager responsible for concept development, design and mechanical engineering support.

Time and Data Terminal - Designed for Simplex Time Recorder Co. This terminal is designed for the harsh factory environment. It features a rugged polycarbonate case that is extremely impact resistant and is sealed. Acted as Industrial Designer and Engineering Project Manager for entire project. Responsible for all product design, engineering, design qualification, customer and executive staff interface, UL approvals and implementation into production.

RF Hand Held Scanner - Developed in conjunction with Intermec Technologies Corp. Using existing handle and optical system, designed RF based scanner system. Use of existing components helped to accelerate product release into production. Product was designed specifically for the warehouse and transportation industries. Acted as Industrial Design Manager responsible for concept development, industrial design, CAD development and mechanical engineering support.
