Whitewings in Flight
Whitewings was a Pacific white-sided dolphin who lived at the Vancouver Aquarium in Stanley Park, Vancouver, Canada. She died in January 2002. This photograph, which I took in the fall of 1996, pays tribute to her strength and her spirit of playfulness.
