Scientific Illustration
My brother, Tom, is working on his thesis project in microbiology. Here's an illustration I did for his presentation. The image shows how antibiotics kill bacteria by corrupting processes in the cells. It's similar to the gears of a clock getting jammed. The illustration uses this analogy to describe how the antibiotic works against the bacteria cell.
