Fling Analog Joystick for iPad
This was the first project I did as an intern at TenOne Design and I did everything from ideating, prototyping, sketching, 3D modeling, packaging, Mechanical drawings, logo design, packaging design, manufacturing file packs and more. This project as a whole was a lot of Research and developement. At the time we were making it, nothing like it had been made. We had to figure out how it could work. This included figuring out the self centering mechanism and we tried everything from orthodontic rubber bands to actual metal springs and then finally settled on the plastic spring it uses now. The plastic spring alone had over 20 prototypes of different directions, thicknesses, amounts of arms, etc.
