PACE RACE
Is a Run/Walk Event benefitting the Senior Services.
The limitation on this were:
-Had to somehow incorporate this light structure where the event starts or stop or where the event is happening around which is also close to the Senior Services office.
-they also wanted to incorporate the local water way or river that is the location.
-that it's a active event. I couldn't focus on running or walking.
What did I learn through this project? That I'm really patient with people and I try to give them the essence of what they ask for. That these projects are never really mine. What I try to keep close is the process and how I get there. Clarity on the message is the priority, styling is secondary.

Temporary logos for a couple of Food Service and Retail burger patties.
Every in-house designer have lots of projects like this. I call a "everything but the kitchen sink" project. Everything, no budget, and very limited time for proper execution. The limitations on this were:
-No budget
-Maneuvering around designing by committee, too many hands and egos/insecurities
-very aggressive time line
-no budget, team didn't want to spend money since it was temporary
-I also did the packaging and the photography with no food stylist
If there was ever any reasons for why an in-house designer are important, this is it! In-house designers, saves company money, they are able to work across internal departments and are fast.
At the end of this I was reminded how patient (that word again) and committed I am about quality no matter what the circumstances are. That I can make something out of nothing. And I walked away knowing I did my best.
