Turtle - My daughter visited me at work and was amazed at the process of design from conceptual to product. The next day she hands me her concept of a turtle and asks me if I can scan this and "magically" CNC this out in the shop. The shop guys would have laughed at me so I went old school on this and hand sculpted/ machined it out of yellow foam and then masked and painted.

Yep...that was me. Went from this simple (and quick) sketch to tooling. Not much has changed to the one zip over the past 12 years.
