Auburn "Parallels" album artwork
MA-based hardcore band Auburn titled their second record "Parallels", a title that can be tricky to visually express without relying on cliche's such as mirrors/mirror images. My solution was to create two "parallel" covers depicting a window into each other's spaces creating an infinitely looping reality.
The CD itself was manufactured so that half of the finished units showed one cover, with the other half showing the other cover, further reinforcing the parallel concept when seen in record stores and on the band's merch table.
