My Edge - Compact Utility Knife - My Edge is a very compact utility knife design with an spring loaded guard that automatically covers the blade. I designed it using Solidworks as a personal project and built several functional prototypes to test out the design. I also applied for and received a provisional patent.

Switchpad Exploded View - The Switchpad is a vault for a notepad and pen that is crushproof and waterproof. The housing is CNC machined anodized 6061 T6 aluminum and sealed throughout with gaskets keep moisture out. When the user presses the button springs instantly deploy the tray with the pad and pen. The pen is held in the skeletonized channel by a neodymium magnet. The notepad is secured with a Viton band and there is a channel on the back side of the tray for holding IDs, or other important documents.

Kikpen - The Kikpen is an innovative writing tool that doubles as an adjustable iPhone kickstand.  It is machined from  aircraft grade 6061 T6 Aluminum so it is both lightweight and durable.  The iPhone is secured to one half of the pen by a pair of high strength neodymium magnets which hold the phone against the iPhone 4s stainless steel frame.  The pen is jointed at the midsection and has a 9 position ball detent which can support the phone at different angles in the landscape orientation.
