Music Box
I designed this music box to be able to store enough information to play back several minutes of material. The information storage method is a steel ribbon with perforations. The ribbon acts both as the medium for storing information as well as the spring to drive the mechanism. sprocket like wheels catch on the ribbon's perorations to pull back and release hammers that strike the chimes.
