Dermatologist's Digital Microscope
This digital microscope was designed for a contest hosted by Autodesk and Boston Scientific for their "Design for Medical Innovation." The innovation for this design was to create a quick and easy tool for dermatologists' to more closely inspect a patient's skin for any signs of cancer before ordering a biopsy. The microscope plugs into a tablet or smart phone to display the microscope's view while held over a suspicious part of the skin. The microscope has LEDs to light the area and can be focused by twisting the white focus ring.
