Standing at a massive 14 feet high, this customer designed flag was more than just a large flag. The Flag, instead of a large print on paper, symbolized that at one point, the West Florida Republic was an independant nation. The Flag is based on the flag used by the WFR in the early 1800's. Flag design was created by myself while in the position of Graphics Design and IT Director of the parish.
The grand entrance of the 13,000 sqft area that I was in charge of arranging and designing.
Digital print on plain paper where post-print processed. To make the prints look aged like old maps, coffee water and wiped on the front and back and a distressed texture added to the corners and sides to give a worn look.

National Association of Counties - Florida Parishes Exhibit

The National Association of Counties (NACo) came to Louisiana in July of 2014. The states parishes area given the opportunity to present an exhibit to showcase what makes each parish special. The Florida parishes (excluding East and West Feliciana and EBR) were given 13,000 square feet to set up the exhibit. I was in charge of designing graphics and material to give the visitors and "exploration in the 1800's" feel. Graphics were printed and post processed to give an old map feel. The environment included layout design and smaller area dedicated to each parish to showcase themselves. My job was to appropriately tie each parish together in a cohesive design. Our regions exhibit was the most popular of the 9 regions with roughly 7,000 unique visits.
