Online Ready Packaging

Project in collaboration with DS Smith Packaging, with the aim of developing a scale-able use of corrugated material, which addresses the needs of an emerging market.

My concept was 'Online Ready Packaging', in contrast to the Retail Ready Packaging currently in use.

The majority of products sold online are packaged specifically for in store retail, then packaged again for home delivery on purchase. This requires two separate packaging processes and leads to poorly designed and wasteful packaging.

As online retail grows, there’s an opportunity to design packaging that caters to the needs of the emerging market and the increasing numbers of online shoppers.
