1,300 S.F. traveling 'baseball' exhibit. We were approached by a individual that wanted to present 6000+ baseballs. The challenge was not about the baseballs but to tell a story and make it interesting so that places would lease this exhibit to showcase the collection. This is a concept of that attempt. The walls are collapsible fabric structures and the all the cases are modular so that baseballs will always remained in ordered when moved.
1,300 S.F. traveling 'baseball' exhibit. Overall floor plan of this exhibit.
Positioned at the entry is an archway with numerous baseballs in plexiglas cases which would be lit. The fabric walls can easily have graphics. Printing on fabrics is phenomenal these days.
This is the front center of the booth, after you pass the archway. I call this the round-about to circulate the traffic around the booth but also premiere the highlights of the baseball collection.
This is a view outside the roundabout center area.
This is a view outside the roundabout center area. Notice the casework that contains the baseballs. One idea is to use ipads to help visualize the collection even more. Further 'perk' information on each ball could be a short video, stats or images. The cases hold 375 balls. Each case is led-lit and the whole unit can be broken down while keeping the baseballs intact.
This is the mid-center of the booth. The client has numerous collection of photos, I figured something like that could be presented on large display. To the left and right are 'highlight' collections. Notice the fabric column structures. All modular.
This is the rear of the booth. This area contains over 2,877 baseballs. Again, the ipads would help greatly to add another element to the story. To break up the collection a bit, other display elements (bats or jerseys) could be displayed here.
