Clo Blanco

Dreaming Nicaragua is a sensitive and lyrical portrayal of four children living in extreme poverty in Nicaragua. When painting, the kids momentarily escape the stresses of their reality into a world of dreams and ideas, a stark contrast to their lives outside.

Magenta collaborated with director Marcelo Bukin (Tula Films NYC) to create designs and animations for the feature film Dreaming Nicaragua. The designs, font design, and the animation were created based on drawings made by the Nicaraguan children on whom the film is focused.
